The front cover shows the fifth-century rune-stone from Mojbro, Uppland (now in Statens Historiska Museum, Stockholm). The runes should be read from right to left, beginning with the bottom line. They are: frawaradaR / anahahaislagina/R. The meaning of this is disputed; the most widely accepted interpretation is probably "Frawarad on the horse is slain".
